The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
